NOC limits fuel supply; enforces quota system

To ease the ongoing fuel crisis due to the strike organized by Nepal Independent Transportation Drivers' Committee who have been demanding an amendment to Vehicle and Transportation Act-2049, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has enforced quota refueling system effective from today.

NOC has limited two-wheelers with 5 litres, private four-wheelers with 15 litres, and public vehicles with a maximum of 50 litres of fuel.  Similarly, the state-owned entity has directed fuel stations to refuel ambulances, school buses and government vehicles accordingly.
